Aprašymas: The newsreel includes footage from a fire at a children’s home in Kangasala on 26 November 1954 where nine children died, all below the age of seven. More than a thousand people attended the funeral service on 6 December and followed the nine children on their journey to their last resting place. Soviet ice breaker Kapitan Voronin is launched in Helsinki. Burial in Kangasala of the victims of the children’s home fire. Andrey Vyshinsky, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Soviet Union, in memoriam. Finnish Gymnastics and Sports Federation (SVUL) sends invitations to the 1956 Finnish Festival Games.
